National Museum of the Graphic Arts

The National Museum of the Graphic Arts in Mexico is heir to a collection more than a century in the making. It first opened in 1977 in Tacubaya, Mexico City; it later moved to Polanco as the Museo Juan Pablos and then to the former tram substation on Calzada de Tlalpan.

In 2007 the collection arrived in the Historic Center of Querétaro under its final name: MUNAG. There it was organized into rooms that trace the country's graphic history, from the pre-Hispanic era to the present.

Today its online catalog lets anyone browse the collection from anywhere: each piece has a record with inventory number, period, material, dimensions and photographs.

Below you will find some of its most important pieces.
